WEATHER WARS WINTER WARS: Winter Strikes Back! Snow Stormzilla! East Coast Protector Set-Up Is Down

A Major Snow Storm has hit the U.S. East Coast and Northern Area’s. And unfortunately, my G-2 Set-Up is down. (4) out of (7) Aquarium Heaters for the Units are almost non-operational, and I can only maintain an average of 65F degree water in the units.

The Old Heaters were to be replaced for next Winter Season. They work hard to maintain 80F-90F degree water temps 24 hours a day, 6 months per year, in sometimes very cold conditions.

I’ve just ordered (4) 300 watt units. (1) each for the (3) G-1 Units with (1) for back-up, at $7.00 dollars each. And (2) 500 watt heater units, (1) for the Primary G-2 and (1) back-up at $13.50 each. These should arrive by 3/22/17, and easily maintain a constant 93F degrees in all the units.
(Post will be Updated shortly with Where to Order)

I have also ordered a 100 and a 200 watt heater for emergency back-up. All will arrive about the same time. For reasons to be explained later, I will be maintaining these water temperatures year round, in the units. Power is not free!

This is why you/we need more than 1 or 2 Sky Guardians. When one is down or working below specs, another can easily pick up the slack.

But this year I guess it’s not to be. I’m not going to worry about it. People said they wanted Snow, well snow is what they are going to get. No major snows since early January for the East Coast…when my Units last went down.

We must get out of this mess together…or not at all. We can program our future together…or you can let someone else program your future for you! The chose is yours.

We can’t depend on 1 or 2 Sky Guardians here on the East Coast. With the Northern Protector down and now the East Coast Guardian down, this is what we get.
