Looks like the now infamous Hurricane Joaquin was and will be, little more than a Media Hyped, Rain Event. And it’s being recognized as such by the General Public.
Don’t take my word for it, read what they have to say yourselves.

So basically what we have is a rain event for the eastern US that would have happened with or without the hurricane. The weather people know no limits when it comes to trying to drum up panic.

6 am and turned on the Weather Channel and they made me laugh, God bless em. Historic, record, epic, rain threat …. They show film with the reporter standing there and people dancing behind them. Should be on funniest videos.,
Its like when those tough New Yorkers get 2 inches of snow and the world is about to end per the media. Thanks Weather Channel

Save this report and look at the final results in about four days. Here in Florida the over night lows finally dropped into the 60’s and we need to go look for a pumpkin today. I’ll need to mow the lawn today and go the Farmer’s Market for some fresh eggs and tomatoes. What storm?
Well, I’ve been through three actual Hurricanes. Carla (4), Alicia (3) and Ike (2).
The eyes passed within miles of where I was.
Joachim will be at worst, 500 miles offshore.
There won’t be much wind, maybe some moderate rain.
Don’t make a big deal out of it!
the hurricane has little to do with the big rain… a small contributor at most… yet they still hype with a headline that says a storm heading well out to see will be impacting many states… bogus
I’m no expert but looking at the water vapor loop (wv-animated.gif) as of right now it appears that this system is about to be completely pinched off by two separate masses of dry air and could just disappear within the next day or two.
There is not going to be any storm. Not even going to get within 1000 miles of US coast. The sensationalism are out in full force
OH MY; it’s going to rain!!!!
All the wacko climate change clowns were hoping this storm would devastate the East Coast.
why don’t you look at the track? joaquin isn’t going to touch the u.s. the media hyperbole and hysteria is pathetic.
It’s a non-event for the US, so stop the hype about the effects on the East Coast. They’ll get a lot of rain.
The latest track shows this storm 500 miles out to sea, never coming near the US coast. It’s actually a bigger threat to England than the USA.

another non-event that will be worked into the global warming BS non-science money grabbing lie.

They closed the schools here just outside of Charleston, SC due to potential flooding for the day…. It’s 12:37 PM EST and it isn’t even raining. The hype is strong, but reality refutes the AGW crowd once more.

Why are you still hyping this storm? And why aren’t you using the European Weather Models which had this storm heading out to sea from the beginning?
San Diego, California
It’s a fraggen rain s-t-o-r-m.
Why is it when the east coast gets more than 2 inches of rain or 1/2 of inch of snow – and then shuts down NYC and DC due to a global warming crisis, it’s also becomes a national crisis on all the media and networks?
The weather nuts are absolutely wetting themselves over this one. They’ve been bordering on manic depression all season over the lack of tabloid worthy weather.

Wasn’t that the original European storm track ? Why don’t we just use their prediction , it always is more accurate then our 15 predicted tracks .
Irondequoit, New York
The European model has long shown this storm taking an abrupt northeast turn and heading out into open seas, and the U.S. models appear to be lining up (albeit slowly) with that thinking.

Just another hype a thon.
I bought myself some nice new rain gear for my feet. I guess you could say these boots are made for Joaquin. 🙂
The sky is falling! The sky is falling!!!!!!!!
There seems to be a number of people/TROLLS saying there hasn’t been a Major Hurricane on the U.S. East Coast in 10 years.
This “10 years without a hurricane line for the East Coast, has been repeated several times in this Post’s comments.
I’ve studied this myself, for the new book, and I assure you, before and during 2012, Major Hurricanes were a every year event on the U.S. East Coast. They are peeking at my Computer again and trying to change history.
For example, Hurricane Sandy in 2012 was described as a Frankenstorm, because many said it was Manmade. I point this out in the new book. NOW “They”, the Media, are calling Hurricane Sandy…a Superstorm, not a Frankenstorm.
But anyway, I’m not the only one to notice this “10 Year B.S. Line”.

’10 year drought for hurricanes’??? Guess I really wasn’t running my generator for five days during Irene (2011) or ten days during Sandy (2012) or be shut out of Manhattan for a week… https://youtu.be/b1xkugQk4ck
Investigation into the historical and current use of weather modification for military purposes.
Weather warfare is the use of weather control techniques for military purposes. As a quick introduction to the website and an introduction to weather warfare in general, I would like to provide readers a documentary to watch by the History Channel, That’s Impossible – Episode #3, Weather Warfare.
The documentary explains that the power to use tornado’s, hurricanes and the deadliest weather as weapons of war may now be possible.
The documentary investigates reports that weather weapons are in development and reveal the technology that, in the future, could turn hurricanes, earthquakes and even tsunamis into some of the most powerful and plausibly deniable weapons of mass destruction the world has ever seen.
